Orders & Shipping
How long does shipping take?
We process all orders within 1-3 business days. Standard shipping typically takes 5-7 business days within the continental United States. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to select international destinations. International shipping times vary by location, typically 10-21 business days. Customs fees and import duties are the responsibility of the customer.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your package on the carrier's website. If you have not received a tracking email within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us at go@american.fitness.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After 24 hours, your order may already be in processing and we cannot guarantee changes. Please contact us immediately at go@american.fitness if you need to make changes.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items in original, unused condition with all tags attached. To initiate a return, email us at go@american.fitness with your order number and reason for return.
How do I exchange an item?
To exchange an item for a different size or color, initiate a return for your original item and place a new order for the replacement. This ensures the fastest turnaround. Visit our Exchanges & Returns page for full details.
Who pays for return shipping?
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or we shipped the wrong product. In those cases, we will provide a prepaid return label.

What materials are used in your bags and gear?
Our tactical bags and fitness gear are built from premium 1000D Mil-Spec Cordura nylon with KEVLAR reinforced stitching and YKK waterproof zippers — the same materials used in military and tactical equipment. Our weight vests are constructed from 500D water-resistant nylon with the same KEVLAR and YKK standards.
How do I fill the AF Sandbag or Sand Kettlebell?
Both products are designed to be filled with sand, available at any hardware or home improvement store. Use a funnel or pour slowly to avoid spillage. Fill to your desired weight — up to 60lbs for the Sandbag and up to 40lbs for the Sand Kettlebell — then secure the zipper completely before use.
What size plates fit the AF Plate Carrier Weight Vest?
The AF Plate Carrier Weight Vest is designed to accommodate medium and large standard ballistic plates in both the front and back plate pockets. It is compatible with most commercially available plate sizes used in functional fitness and tactical training.
How do I care for my American Fitness gear?
For bags and tactical gear: wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash. Allow to air dry completely before storing. For apparel: machine wash cold with like colors, tumble dry low. Do not bleach or iron directly over printed areas.
